Blog Goodness

My delicious friend Bev just awarded me a Blog Award - my first!  I am excited to be included in such wonderful company.
There is very little I wouldn't do for Bev. She's just that kind of upbeat, fun, and warm kind of person.  And she happens to also be MY top commenter.
So to go along with her request, I am answering the ten questions she posed (besides I just dig this sort of thing):

1. What is your most embarrassing moment of all time?
I agreed to participate in a skit in front of the whole High School that was unrehearsed and did NOT go as planned. And a picture ended up in the yearbook.
2. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Chocolate
3. How old were you when you had your first kiss?
1st grade. 6? Real one? Junior High
4. What is your browser's home page?
Google
5. What color do you never, ever wear?
Orange
6. Are you a nature-lover or a city-slicker?
Nature lover
7. If you were granted 3 wishes, what would they be? (none of that "more wishes" crap!)
To live long enough to see my daughter have children
To stay healthy
To one day have a little place of my own again
8. Do you have any scars? How'd you get them?
Hell yes. Lots of little ones from dumb accidents and mishaps and a C-section scar that has actually faded nicely
9. Ever seen a ghost?
No, but plenty of monsters
10. What is your dream job?
Getting paid (a lot) to write creatively

There we have it. What kinds of things to you always want to ask?

  1. I'm only ONE comment away from being your top commenter!
Great answers. Ugh, your embarrassing moment just dug up a long forgotten memory of pulling a band together to sing at Graduation. We had no monitors so we couldn't actually hear eachother. HORRIBLE.

  2. AWWWW! Thanks for the kind words, my friend! That made my morning. :)

Love your answers. Orange and yellow are the only two colors I won't wear. I think you and I have similar coloring, so you know why. ;)

    Monsters? I'm intriqued....

  3. So is there videographic evidence of said high school skit? We won't laugh. I promise.

  4. Mala: You seem to have bumped up your stats! Feel free to engage in a little healthy competition...
Bev: oh, yeah, not yellow, either. Unless I WANT people to ask me all day if I'm feeling alright. I may have to write about the monsters someday, but not yet.
Kate: oh, darling... they didn't videotape things like they do now. We are talking the late 70s. We're lucky we had cameras. Trust me, the still pic is bad enough.
